Kebabs was something I loved to eat growing up. Israelis love to put together what they call ‘ktzizot’ which is basically just a patty made of just about anything. The most common one is kebabs. I’ve tried my best to veganize this recipe and I think it works really well with either Impossible ground beef, or Beyond beef.
Feeds: 3 | Prep time: 15 minutes | Cook time: 15 minutes
Kebab Ingredients:
1 pack of Impossible Meat
1 medium onion finely chopped
Half of a parsley bunch finely chopped
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp turmeric
Pinch of salt and pepper
Other Ingredients:
2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions:
1. Start by heating up a pan with the olive oil. I recommend medium-low heat.
2. In a medium size bowl, add the ground ‘beef,’ chopped onion, chopped parsley, and spices. Mix them well with your hands and start forming round shaped patties. Similar in size to cookies.
3. Once your oil is warm, you can start to place the kebabs on the pan and let them cook on both sides. This should take 3-4 minutes per side.
